Barista Roots Roastery was born out of a passion for exceptional coffee and the craft of roasting. Based in Paarl, South Africa, we roast every batch with care to bring out rich, balanced flavours in every cup.

Barista Roots House Blend
Crafted for coffee lovers who appreciate balance, sweetness, and complexity, the Barista Roots House Blend brings together exceptional beans from Brazil, Honduras, and Tanzania to create a beautifully rounded cup that's equally at home as an espresso or with milk.
Brazil forms the heart of this blend, delivering a smooth, full-bodied foundation with rich notes of milk chocolate, roasted hazelnut, and caramel. Honduras adds layers of brown sugar sweetness, toffee, and ripe stone fruit, creating a silky, balanced profile. Completing the blend, Tanzania contributes a vibrant brightness with notes of blackcurrant, citrus zest, and a delicate hint of red berries, adding elegance and a clean finish.
The result is a versatile coffee with a creamy body, balanced acidity, and a lingering sweet finish—crafted to be your everyday favourite.
Barista Roots Freedom Blend
The Barista Roots Freedom Blend is a celebration of bold character and vibrant flavour. Carefully crafted from the rich, full-bodied coffees of Uganda and the world-renowned Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, this blend offers an unforgettable cup that is both adventurous and beautifully refined.
Uganda provides a luxurious foundation with notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted nuts, and rich caramel, delivering a smooth, syrupy body. Ethiopia Yirgacheffe brings its signature elegance, bursting with delicate jasmine florals, bergamot, citrus, peach, and sweet honey, creating a bright, lively cup with remarkable complexity.
Together, these origins produce a coffee that is bold yet elegant, balancing deep sweetness with vibrant fruit and floral aromas. Whether enjoyed as a silky espresso, a pour-over, or with milk, Freedom Blend offers a clean, expressive finish that invites you to savour every sip.
